About WICCI Norway

WICCI Norway is a community for Indian-origin women living in Norway who are entrepreneurs, professionals, or exploring new career paths.
It is part of the global Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI) network.
Our goal is to support women through connection, learning, and collaboration.
We bring women together through networking events, workshops, and mentoring — both online and in person.

WICCI Norway supports business owners by offering visibility, knowledge sharing, and growth opportunities.
We also support professionals with guidance, training, and access to helpful networks in Norway.

The community is built on shared experiences, trust, and women supporting women.
Through national and international partnerships, we help members connect beyond borders.
WICCI Norway is open, inclusive, and focused on real impact.

With sectoral and multi-sectoral Councils at International/Bilateral, National, Regional, State & City levels, guided by the National Boards (Governing, Advisory, Executive), each Council comprising minimum 10-20 council members, and a Vice President and President, leads us in the following ways:

Mainstreaming women’s voice and upholding women’s interest in policy-making and in all echelons of decision-making.

Helping women get better incentives, improved access to finance and other measures that empower the competitiveness of Businesswomen, Entrepreneurs and Professionals.

Providing representations and recommendations to relevant government authorities/other institutions to strengthen women’s voice, mitigate our many challenges, and empower women’s endeavours in economy and society.

Promoting business networking and collaborations among members and the global community in order to enhance opportunities for professional and personal growth.

Energetically contributing to council endeavours and delivering on the Council’s self-determined agenda and annual calendar.
